We are proud to partner with Camp Invention®, a nationally recognized STEM program from the National Inventors Hall of Fame, to bring an exciting lineup of hands-on invention camps to Azle this summer. Families can choose from a variety of engaging Camp Invention experiences including Robotic Aquatics, Optibot, Flight Lab, Robotic Pet Vet, and Open Mic, offering something for every young inventor, engineer, performer, and animal lover!
Early Registration Pricing
We offer tiered early registration pricing to reward families who register early. Tuition increases as camp dates approach, so be sure to secure your spot early for the best rate!
Register by February 15 — $135 per camp/camper (Save $30)
Register February 16–March 20 — $145 per camp/camper (Save $20)
Register March 21–May 15 — $155 per camp/camper (Save $10)
Register May 16 through the start of camp — $165 per camp/camper

Robotic Aquatics

Diving into the latest ocean research, campers will design a habitat for their own aquatic friend and invent a brand-new aquatic plant — complete with its very own patent! They’ll explore symbiotic relationships by creating a companion for their aquatic creature, then dive deeper into innovation by developing a bio-inspired invention to pitch to their peers. It’s a week of imagination, invention, and underwater adventure that’s sure to make a splash!

Flight Lab
Ages 6-13

This summer, The Azle Music & Enrichment Academy is thrilled to partner with Camp Invention®, a nationally acclaimed STEM program, to bring Flight Lab to our community!
Children will journey beyond the horizon as their imaginations take flight, inspired by some of the greatest innovators in aviation history. Guided by LINK, their robot flight trainer, students soar through a series of thrilling challenges that explore the science of flight found in nature—from insects and pterosaurs to bats, birds, and beyond.
As they experiment with flight and send their own gizmos and gadgets into the atmosphere, students also take apart a LINK robot to uncover its inner mechanics, deepening their understanding of engineering, aerodynamics, and creative problem-solving.

Optibot
Ages 6-13

In this high-energy program, children launch into the future with their very own Optibot—a small, self-driving robot that senses and responds to changes in light. As they explore the technology behind transportation, students design the ultimate futuristic vehicle that could one day become reality.
Through hands-on experimentation and the prototyping process, children refine their creations, build confidence, and strengthen problem-solving and critical-thinking skills that extend far beyond the classroom.

Robotic Pet Vet
Ages 6-13

In this exciting hands-on experience, students explore the fascinating connections between biology, physiology, and circuitry as they take apart and diagnose their robotic dogs. Along the way, they strengthen their problem-solving skillsand learn to think like real inventors.
After nursing their pets back to health, children celebrate the “homecoming” of their customized robotic companions by designing and constructing an interactive dog park attraction—showcasing their creativity, innovation, and understanding of design engineering concepts.

Open Mic
Ages 6-13

In this empowering module, children discover their voices as their imagination and innovation are amplified through invention and entrepreneurship. They begin by reverse-engineering a wireless microphone, exploring how sound and technology connect, and then use the Camp Invention Design Thinking Process™ to brainstorm, design, and pitch their very own original inventions.
With every step, students build confidence, creativity, and communication skills—learning that their ideas truly have the power to make an impact.

Lunch Bunch
🍎 Lunch Bunch is a supervised midday break for students who are enrolled in both a morning and afternoon Camp Invention session at The Azle Music & Enrichment Academy. This time allows students to relax, eat lunch, and enjoy structured games and activities between sessions in a safe, welcoming environment.
Ages 6-13
Time: 11:00AM-12:00PM
Important Details:
Required for all students attending both sessions
Students must bring a nut-free, ready-to-eat lunch
Lunches must be clearly labeled with the student’s name
Heating and refrigeration available
No food or drink sharing allowed
Lunch Bunch is fully supervised by Academy staff
Lunch Bunch helps ensure a smooth transition between sessions and gives students a chance to recharge before jumping back into their inventive learning!
